PSG rule out Alexandre Pato move

PSG rule out Alexandre Pato move

04 January 2012 - 21:22

Paris St Germain have ruled out a move for AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato. The Brazilian forward has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Italy, and the ambitious French side appeared to be frontrunners for his coveted signature.

  • Chelsea eyeing part-exchange deal to sign Osimhen
  • Chelsea & Arsenal handed blow in Bundesliga striker pursuit

  • Only last week Pato happened to be linked with a move to Chelsea, but that deal has since been ruled out by manager Andre Villas-Boas.

However, AC Milan striker Pato will be staying in Italy for the time being, and it appears that PSG have no interest in the talented striker.

"Pato is a player of Milan and he has a contract, so we are not interested in him," Ancelotti said.

"Right now, there is no chance to sign Kaka. We are in the middle of a transfer window and I will discuss with the club how we can improve the team.

"I do not want to talk about individual cases, like Pato or Kaka, both of whom are under contract.

"We will work to sign some players, but in order to do so, it is necessary that clubs are sellers."
