On fire striker Demba Ba reportedly has a clause in his contract that allows the player to leave St. James' Park should an offer of 10m GBP be made. The on form forward has been in fantastic form this year, and scooped the player of the month award for December.

A host of clubs would love to sign the Senegalese striker, and Newcastle are desperate to keep the former West Ham striker.<br />

With news of a 10m GBP release clause in his contract, though, the club are sure to be concerned.<br />

Tottenham and Liverpool are both clubs that are believed to be on the look out for a new striker, and the relatively small fee for Ba could be tempting both sides.
