Stoke City could sign Michael Uchebo, the 6 foot 8 Nigerian striker currently playing for Dutch side VVV Venlo. Stoke City are expected to take the forward on trial for two weeks, and make a decision before the end of the month.
The Potters are reportedly chasing Uchebo as a future replacement for Peter Crouch, and the player could even be integrated into the first team as soon as next season.
VVV value the burly striker at around 1.75m EUR. The former Enugu Rangers striker has a glowing reputation on the continent, and Ajax were also believed to be keen on the striker.
