QPR to tempt Hughes with monster 30m GBP fund

QPR to tempt Hughes with monster 30m GBP fund

10 January 2012 - 05:27

Queens Park Rangers and Mark Hughes will go into talks for a second day regarding the Welshman taking up the vacant role at Loftus Road, and owner Tony Fernandes is reportedly offering a 30m GBP sweetener to secure Hughes' signature.

  • Chelsea want to sign Alejandro Garnacho for £30m?
  • Chelsea agree deal to sign wonderkid for €40m

  • Mark Hughes stepped down as Fulham manager at the end of the 2010-2011 season, and has since been out of work. However, it appears that QPR are very keen on the Welshman and are planning a surprise move for the former Blackburn Rovers manager.

Owner Tony Fernandes is hoping that a transfer kitty of 30m GBP will be enough to persuade Hughes that the R's have serious ambitions to stay in the Premier League this season.
