Balotelli eyes Man City stay

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has no plans to quit the club this January, despite reports that the Italian international is hoping to make a move elsewhere before the transfer window ends.

Balotelli has enjoyed mixed fortunes since completing a move to City from Inter Milan just under two years ago, but this year the striker has been in sterling form and fired the Citizens to the top of the Premier League.<br />

Despite talk of a move back to his homeland Italy, Balotelli confirmed that he is happy at City for the time being:&nbsp;<span>"The newspapers are saying that I want to get away from Manchester but I've never spoken to them.<br /></span><span><br />"They can say what they want, but I'm in Manchester, I am under contract with City and until the right time, will not talk about a new contract."</span>
