Pienaar has Tottenham future

Pienaar has Tottenham future

10 January 2012 - 15:04

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that South African midfielder Steven Pienaar still has a future at White Hart Lane, despite a lack of first team football.

  • Chelsea handed big injury boost for Bayern clash
  • Fernandes unhappy with Man Utd role under Amorim

  • The player has not enjoyed lengthy spells in the first team since joining from Everton over a year ago, suffering with injuries and displaced from the first team by Rafael van der vaart.

But it appears Redknapp still sees a future for the midfielder: "Players like Pienaar and [Niko] Kranjcar are good players and they can get in the team.

"You saw on Saturday that they have quality and they have a big part to play between now and the end of the season."
