Blackburn manager quiet on transfer targets

13 January 2012 - 06:08

Blackburn manager Steve Kean remains tight lipped on his plans for the January transfer window. It is understood that Kean is resigned to losing starlet Junior Hoilett this month; but is waiting till that deal is complete before making any offers.

  • Arsenal linked with new shotstopper as backup to Raya
  • Juventus and Roma to battle for 20yo Arsenal star

  • Blackburn have also received offers for star defender Christopher Samba, but the club are hoping to keep hold of the former Hertha Berlin man.

Kean admitted that he is interested in players, but keeping quiet until deals are done: "I don't want to mention any names.

"I said at the beginning of the window that we will try to get bodies in and try to do it as quickly as we can."It has been slow, but not just for us, it has been slow for everybody. I don't want to give you names or numbers, but we have been very busy over the last eight or nine days."
