Norwich City could make an offer for highly rated Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez. According to a report, Paul Lambert has already contacted the Championship side regarding the availability of the 22-year-old striker.

  • Rodriguez has been in inspirational form for Burnley this year, scoring 14 goals in 31 games; and a number of Premier League scouts have been tracking the striker in action.

Burnley value the forward at around 3.5m GBP and would only sell if they can find a replacement right away.

Norwich City have been busy identifying new players to sign in the January transfer window, but have so far been thwarted in their efforts to complete deals.

According to the report, the Canaries hope to wrap up a deal for Rodriguez as soon as next week.
