QPR still interested in Christopher Samba

16 January 2012 - 05:34

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes has admitted that he still holds an interest in Blackburn defender Christopher Samba. The former Hertha Berlin defender is reportedly unhappy at Ewood Park and looking for a move away.

  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Last week Paris St Germain were linked with a move for the bulky centre back, but as yet no official offer had been made from the French side.

However, it appears that QPR will be making a bid this week. Hughes said: "It's common knowledge we put a bid in for Chris. If that is a situation that progresses all well and good, but we will have to wait and see.

"We have a number of players we would like to bring to the club."
