Remy rules out Tottenham move

Remy rules out Tottenham move

16 January 2012 - 06:28

French striker Loic Remy has ruled out a move from Marseille to Tottenham; and insisted that he will be staying at the club until the end of the season. Redknapp was in Marseille to watch the striker in the 2-0 win over Lille at the weekend.

  • It appears that Redknapp's efforts to persuade Remy to join Spurs will only be in vain, though, as Remy insisted he will stay at Marseille for the time being: "I’m staying. I will 100 per cent stay at Marseille until the end of the season and even the end of my contract.

“I have spoken with the president and the staff. And it would not be right for me to leave this club.

“We’ll see next summer but that’s not even in my head for now.”
