Wolves to make bid for Kevin Davies?

16 January 2012 - 13:19

Wolves are set to make a 500,000 GBP offer for veteran striker Kevin Davies. The Bolton forward's contract at the Reebok Stadium will expire at the end of the season, and the Trotters could let the forward leave now and redeem some money, as opposed to leave for free this summer.

  • £47m star to undergo Chelsea medical on Friday
  • Chelsea make first move to sign French centre-back
  • The 34-year-old has been with Bolton for 9 years and supporters are keen to keep the striker at the Reebok, but there appears to be some concern that the player is not getting enough first team football and wants to leave.

Wolves' reported interest is sure to intrigue Davies; and Mick McCarthy is apparently chasing Davies as backup for first team striker Steven Fletcher.
