Newcastle close in on Papiss Cisse move

Newcastle United have won the race to sign Freiburg and Senegal international striker Papiss Demba Cisse. The highly rated striker will reportedly complete a move to the Sports Direct Arena this week, for around 10 million GBP.

    The 26 year old has shown his goalscoring abilities this year, and has been linked with a move to Sunderland this morning.<br />

    However, it appears Newcastle have won the race for his signature, and the striker's representatives are currently in the North of England thrashing out personal terms.
