Newcastle United have won the race to sign Freiburg and Senegal international striker Papiss Demba Cisse. The highly rated striker will reportedly complete a move to the Sports Direct Arena this week, for around 10 million GBP.
Alan Pardew wants to link up Demba Ba with his international colleague Papiss Cisse, and will spend a hefty bulk of his transfer fund to bring the Freiburg man to the club.<br />
The 26 year old has shown his goalscoring abilities this year, and has been linked with a move to Sunderland this morning.<br />
However, it appears Newcastle have won the race for his signature, and the striker's representatives are currently in the North of England thrashing out personal terms.
