Liverpool have denied reports that they have moved a step closer to completing a move for Croatian international striker Nikica Jelavic. The Rangers frontman has been linked with a move to England for over two months.
Yesterday, Nikica Jelavic's agent and father, Philip, insisted that Liverpool were leading the race for his signature.
However, it seems that Jelavic has not yet opened talks with any clubs; as there have yet to have been any offers for the Rangers frontman.
Rangers are looking to recoup around 6 million GBP if they decide to part ways with the forward.
