Rangers manager Ally McCoist admitted that clubs are interested in Croatian striker Nikica Jelavic, but so far West Ham are the only one to have submitted a formal transfer offer for the player.
Last week a host of publications suggested that Liverpool were winning the race for Jelavic's coveted signature, but so far no bid has been forthcoming from Anfield.
“We have absolutely not received any bids for Nikica or indeed any of our players at all. No offers have been put in from any clubs," said McCoist.
“That’s where we are at the moment. Sam Allardyce and I have spoken on the phone and had a conversation which will remain private."
