Blackburn prepare move for Scott Sutter

Blackburn Rovers' manager Steve Kean has made an offer for Young Boys Bern defender Scott Sutter. The player has flown in to England to thrash out terms with Kean and club representatives, after Young Boys accepted an offer of around 2.3 million GBP.

  • Sutter had been expected to move to Ewood Park on loan until the end of the season, but Rovers would prefer to sign the player on a permanent deal. <br />

    The left back, 25, was born in England and actually played for Aston Villa and Charlton as a youth player, before moving to Switzerland with his family.<br />

    Sutter has been capped twice by Switzerland.
