Samba demands Blackburn divorce

Samba demands Blackburn divorce

27 January 2012 - 09:02

Blackburn Rovers defender Christopher Samba has demanded that he be allowed to quit Ewood Park in favour of a move elsewhere. The centre back has been persistently linked with a move away from Rovers.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Man Utd interested in signing Aurelien Tchouameni
 • Tottenham and Paris St Germain are amongst the clubs interested in the defender, but at this time no club has made an enquiry for his services.
Christopher Samba requested that Blackburn allow him to leave the club, and likened it to a "divorce".
"When a couple don't get on they get a divorce, and that's what me and Blackburn have to do," said Samba.
"Blackburn need players who are 100 per cent for the club, and I'm not."The only way to solve this is for them to let me go. It will be very difficult for me to play for this team again.
"I'm at the end of the road here. I'm not going to change so, for their good and mine, they must sell me now."
