West Brom release Roman Bednar to Blackpool

29 January 2012 - 10:09

West Bromwich Albion have allowed striker Roman Bednar to join Blackpool on a free transfer. The 28 year old forward has struggled since the arrival of Roy Hodgson at the Hawthorns, and has come to an agreement with the Baggies over an early termation of his contract.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players

  • The Czech Republic striker has joined Blackpool until the end of the season, and after that the two parties can negotiate a new long term deal.

Bednar had only played one game for WBA this year, that came in the League Cup, and the season before that he only played three times.
