Man City to seal deal for David Pizarro

Manchester City will tonight complete a loan move for Chilean midfielder David Pizarro. The 32 year old will move to the Premier League from Roma until the end of the season.

Roberto Mancini, the Citizens' manager, is a huge fan of the Chilean midfielder and knows the player well from his time with Inter Milan.<br />

According to reports, Mancini's primary target this transfer window happened to be Daniele de Rossi, but after failing in his efforts to sign the Italian midfielder, he turned his attentions to Pizarro instead.<br />

Pizarro has had some problems with injuries this year and has only played in 6 league games for Roma.
