31 January 2012 - 16:01

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes is hoping to wrap up a deal for Steven Pienaar tonight, with the R's making a loan offer for the South African international. According to reports, Tottenham want to keep Pienaar until the end of the season.

  • Chelsea asked for Max Dowman during Noni Madueke talks
  • Arsenal ready to pay £40m to sign Chelsea star Noni Madueke

  • Pienaar has struggled for first team football since joining Spurs from Everton over a year ago, and asked Harry Redknapp for a move away from White Hart Lane last month.

However, Redknapp wants to keep Pienaar at the club and help their Premier League title charge.

Queens Park Rangers have offered to pay Pienaar's entire salary for the duration of his loan from Tottenham.
