Arsenal manager eyes Wilshere return

11 February 2012 - 14:14

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is hopeful that midfielder Jack Wilshere will recover from injury soon, as the England international prepares for the final scan on his troublesome ankle next week.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Arsenal handed huge boost ahead of Bournemouth clash

  • The Gunners manager remains confident that Wilshere will soon be able to return to action from an injury that has left him out of action for the whole season so far.

Last month, Wilshere very nearly returned from injury but sustained another in a different area of his foot.

"I hope that we will get good news from him because that is very important for Arsenal. This is the stage where the scan will be vital to decide when he will come back," said Wenger.
