Goetze agent reveals Man Utd interest

Goetze agent reveals Man Utd interest

17 February 2012 - 08:25

The agent of Mario Goetze, Dirk Hebel, has told reporters that Juventus and Manchester United are the only clubs yet to make an official enquiry for the German international attacking midfielder. The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is thought by many to be amongst the best young players in Europe.

  • Mauricio Pochettino confirms fresh injury blow for Chelsea star
  • Arsenal want to make four marquee signings this summer

  • Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger also has a long term interest in Gotze, but has yet to make an offer for the talented forward.

But the player's agent sensationally revealed Man United have already been in touch.

"I think in Europe all the top clubs are interested in Mario," Hebel said. "I can confirm that I have had contact with Juventus and Manchester United, but not only them.

"I don't know if he'll go away after this season - you should ask Borussia - but I think that they will not let him leave for less than €40 million. He still is very happy at Dortmund, though now he is injured."
