Everton manager David Moyes has no concerns about unleashing big money January signing Nikica Jelavic, despite the Croatian only playing one game for the Toffees so far.
Jelavic played for his country in midweek, and yesterday Moyes was asked for reasons why Jelavic has played just a limited role for the club since joining from Rangers.
"Nikica trained with us for a few days before he went away and I was happy for him to go and play for Croatia," said Moyes.
"I'm looking forward to (playing him) because we've not seen him but Denis (Stracqualursi) has made it easy for me.
"It's not as big a panic (to get him fit) and that means we can introduce Jelavic slowly and at the right times. We've not been able to play him so we've got no idea yet what he can offer."
