QPR manager Hughes to investigate Macheda tweet

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes will be investigating comments reportedly made by Federico Macheda on Twitter yesterday. The Italian striker - on loan from Manchester United - did not make the 18 man squad that played Everton yesterday.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • In recent weeks Macheda has been left out of Rangers' starting line up and Macheda reportedly tweeted after the game: "Totally p****d off...this is not what i deserve! **** all!!!!!"

Everton managed to scrape a point at Loftus Road yesterday, leaving Hughes concerned that Macheda turned to Twitter to vent his frustration.

Hughes said after the game: "What is he talking about? Perhaps he has broken a watch or dropped his phone.

"Who knows what he has done. You're assuming it is about the game and not being involved.

"Until I speak to him I can't really comment, can I?"
