QPR manager Hughes to investigate Macheda tweet

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes will be investigating comments reportedly made by Federico Macheda on Twitter yesterday. The Italian striker - on loan from Manchester United - did not make the 18 man squad that played Everton yesterday.

In recent weeks Macheda has been left out of Rangers' starting line up and Macheda reportedly tweeted after the game: "Totally p****d off...this is not what i deserve! **** all!!!!!"

Everton managed to scrape a point at Loftus Road yesterday, leaving Hughes concerned that Macheda turned to Twitter to vent his frustration.

Hughes said after the game: "What is he talking about? Perhaps he has broken a watch or dropped his phone.

"Who knows what he has done. You're assuming it is about the game and not being involved.

"Until I speak to him I can't really comment, can I?"
