Liverpool have reportedly approached Athletic Bilbao regarding the availability of 19 year old winger Iker Muniain. Kenny Dalglish is preparing a 9m offer.

Muniain recently impressed in the Europa League tie against Manchester United, and several English scouts were watching the 5 foot 7 winger in action.



According to reports, Muniain has only 18 months left on his current contract with Bilbao, and could be set for a move elsewhere.



The Pamplona born forward has also been monitored by Spanish giants Barcelona in recent months.
