Arsene Wenger has again insisted that no move for Germany international striker Lukas Podolski has been completed. The FC Koln frontman is expected to wrap up a move to the Emirates at the end of the season.
"Nothing is done. It could happen soon, it could happen later, I don't know," he said. "Last year was terrible for us because we finished on the 31st August at 11.55pm and we do not want to repeat that."
The Gunners have been tracking Podolski for over two months and Podolski has reportedly been in contact with defensive star Per Mertesacker for advice on a move to Arsenal.
