Brendan Rodgers laughs off move talk

24 March 2012 - 16:09

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers has no plans to leave The Liberty Stadium, after seemingly securing Premier League status for next season. Rodgers has emerged as a shock target for Chelsea.

  • Chelsea eyeing part-exchange deal to sign Osimhen
  • Arsenal defender misses training ahead of Man Utd game

  • Rodgers already has a history at Stamford Bridge, where he was previously the youth team boss for the Blues. Recently, Brendan signed a brand new contract with Swansea City, who currently lie 8th in the Premier League table.

"I am ambitious and I want to win trophies and I want to be around a long time.

"I'm realistic and know there will most likely come a time when I leave Swansea. But my only goals at the moment involve Swansea City," said Rodgers.

"It's obviously nice to get the praise that I am getting, but I take it all with a pinch of salt."
