Liverpool striker Andy Carroll admits that he is nervous about the prospect of returning to former club Newcastle in the Premier League this weekend. The Reds will play the Toon at St. James' Park this weekend.
Carroll made a move from Newcastle to Liverpool in a 35m transfer last year, and this weekend will be the England international's first return to his former club since completing a move.
"I don't usually get nervous but this might be a bit different," Carroll said. "All of my family and friends will be there. I'm not sure who they will be supporting.
"Obviously I support them, I was brought up there and was lucky enough to play for them. They will always mean something."
