Queens Park Rangers attacking midfielder Adel Taarabt has revealed that his recent poor form is down to his on/off transfer move to Paris St Germain last summer. The midfielder had also been linked with a move to France in the January transfer window.
However, Taarabt has now started to produce the form that made him QPR's Championship player of the year last season, and scored an impressive goal against Arsenal in the 2-1 win at Loftus Road last weekend.
"I was hurt early in the season because my head was in Paris," Taarabt said. "With Paris it was done. I was already in Paris where I met with the Qataris. But the arrival of Leonardo blocked things."
