Bordeaux is reportedly interested to bring back their former striker Marouane Chamakh from Arsenal this summer, however, he will have to suffer a wage cut. The 28-year old failed to impress the Gunners' faithful and has scored only 12 goals in 61 appearances.
Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud has declared interest in taking the Moroccan international back to France and wants Arsenal to reduce the transfer fee. Arsenal has already reached an agreement with German striker Lukas Podolski who will join the Gunners in the summer. Chamakh is surplus to the requirements at the Emirates and will surely leave the club.
Triaud said that "Arsenal's demands are too high, however, we would welcome Chamakh. If he wants to come, he should be ready for a wage cut."
