Jack Wilshere to miss Euro 2012

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger today confirmed that midfielder Jack Wilshere is likely to miss the rest of the season, and the player is also sure to miss out on the Euro 2012 tournament this summer.

Wilshere has missed the entire season through injury and will not recover in time for this summer's showpiece tournament.<br />

"Jack Wilshere will not play again this season and will not go to the Euros, that is for sure," said Wenger.<br />

"He is not ready to practice today or next week. He makes progress, but slow progress.<br />

"What is for sure is he will not be ready for the end of the season and not for the Euros. He is devestated, and you can understand that."
