Roman hoping to bring Jose back to Chelsea?

22 April 2012 - 04:37

Chelsea chairman Roman Abramovich wants to bury the hatchet with former club manager Jose Mourinho, and bring the current Real Madrid boss back to Stamford Bridge in what would be an incredible reunion with his former club.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
 • Mourinho last night secured what could be a championship winning victory over bitter rivals Barcelona at the Nou Camp, in a 2-1 victory. Mourinho's side are also closing in on a Champions League final, as they hope to beat Bayern Munich in the second leg next week.
Mourinho has admitted before that he had unfinished business at Chelsea, and since his departure, the Blues have been unable to find the success that they enjoyed under the former Porto man.
Meanwhile, Mourinho has enjoyed success at every club that he has been to, including Inter and now Real Madrid.
A source at Chelsea said last night: "Such is Roman's determination to bring back Mourinho that he is prepared to top Jose's Madrid wages and pay compensation to buy out the remaining two years of his contract."
