Fulham scouts have been monitoring Switzerland international midfielder Pirmin Schwegler. The 22-year-old central midfielder has just two months remaining on his contract with the German side.

Schwegler has spent the season in the second division of Germany with Eintracht, and his team has almost guaranteed their place in the top tier, the Bundesliga, for next year.<br />

That hasn't stopped Martin Jol's scouts from keeping track of the central midfielder, though.<br />

The player would be allowed to leave Germany on a free transfer as his contract has almost expired.<br />

According to reports, a deal is very close to being agreed and the 25-year-old is expected in London for talks next weekend.
