West Bromwich Albion chairman Jeremy Peace has reportedly offered former Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri the chance to take over from Roy Hodgson. Hodgson quit the Hawthorns for the England national team manager's job.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • According to various reports, Claudio Ranieri has already been offered the job by Peace, who is keen to lock down a new coach prior to Euro 2012.

Ranieri had a mixed spell as coach at Chelsea up until 2004, when he was fired by owner Roman Abramovich.

In recent years, Ranieri has been in charge at Juventus, Roma and Inter Milan with mild success.
