Ryad Boudebouz to join Liverpool?

28 May 2012 - 00:31

Liverpool have made an offer for Sochaux winger Ryad Boudebouz, and hope to wrap up a transfer for the Algerian international in the next two weeks. Arsenal are also believed to be keen on the youngster.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Liverpool, currently without a manager, have been busy planning a busy summer spending spree, and the Sochaux man is at the very top of their list.

As Liverpool consider a move for Boudebouz, they are also busy in their efforts to find a new manager, with Wigan manager Roberto Martinez believed to be their preferred target.

"Certainly, my agent is in talks with some clubs, particularly in France, but there is still nothing concrete," said Boudebouz.

"There is also Liverpool, who have initiated discussions with my agent, but at the risk of repeating myself, everything is in the discussion stage, no more."
