Premier League interest in Lee Chung-Yong

28 May 2012 - 01:03

Newcastle and Norwich City are amongst the clubs interested in South Korean winger Lee Chung-Young, who yesterday admitted that he is unlikely to stay at the Reebok Stadium now that they have been relegated from the Premier League.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Norwich and Newcastle are both keen to make a bid for the South Korean, who could be available at a reduced rate now that Bolton will play Championship football this year.

"I haven't thought about my future yet," Lee told the Bolton News. "The season has just finished and I just want to take some holiday now.

"I'm not going to hurry to think about my future because we have a few months before next season, but I can say now that I am a Bolton Wanderers player.

"It could be much better if we stayed in the Premier League, but I couldn't do anything because I was injured. I'm fully fit now, but I will keep training for next season."
