AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has denied that the club are preparing to sell Swedish international striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Manchester City this summer. Zlatan is reportedly disappointed that the Rossoneri did not win the Serie A title and is contemplating a move away from Italy.
But when asked about a move away from Milan, the vice president seemed to suggest that Zlatan's long term future would be in Italy.
"It is not true that Manchester City asked for Ibrahimovic," Galliani toldĀ Sport Mediaset. "He will stay here with us to win the Champions League with the Milan shirt.
"We are happy to already be among the 32 in the (Champions League) group stage for next season and hope to soon be back playing a final rather than being guests."
