Giovani dos Santos eyes Spurs exit

Giovani dos Santos eyes Spurs exit

28 May 2012 - 13:42

Tottenham attacker Giovani dos Santos is hopeful that he can finally secure a move away from White Hart Lane this summer. The Mexican had hoped to join Sevilla last year, but a move was scuppered at the last minute.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
 • The former Barcelona winger has been linked with a series of clubs around Europe, but has so far failed to find a new club to join.
The Mexican attacker - aged 23 - has failed to hold down a regular place at White Hart Lane and admitted a move away is likely: "I don't know about my future. I want to concentrate on the national team, but after that I will speak to the chairman to see what is going to happen to me.
"You never know in football. You have to try to do your best to get chances. Maybe I will go, maybe I will stay.
"It's great to come to the national team and play games. I'm grateful for the coach to give me the chance. It's a pleasure.
"I don't have any other offers at the moment. I will speak to my manager and we will see in a few weeks what will happen with my future."
