Al-Habsi loyal to Wigan despite Liverpool talk

08 November 2012 - 06:01

Omani international Ali Al-Habsi remains loyal to the Wigan cause, despite talk of a move to Premier League rivals Liverpool.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • Brendan Rodgers is apparently a big fan of the 6 foot 5 shot stopper, and is weighing up a move for the player. However, Al-Habsi would shun the advances of Liverpool as he remains happy at Wigan: "I heard about what was said at the weekend but that kind of thing is not of any importance to me.

"I am very, very happy at Wigan – as has been the case since I first came here.  I am doing well, my form is coming on with every game I play, and my confidence is very high."
