Pirlo is widely regarded as one of the greatest playmakers to play in Serie A, and as exclusively revealed to the Daily Mail, the Italian very nearly joined Chelsea:&nbsp;<br />

&lsquo;I had already started negotiating with the people at Chelsea but then finally Milan didn&rsquo;t let me go. That&rsquo;s why I stayed.<br /><br />
