Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has sensationally revealed that the club could be forced to sell their star player Gareth Bale. Barcelona have been persistently linked with a move for the Wales international.

The Spurs manager admitted that it would be hard for the club to turn down a mega money offer for the winger.<br />

"At the moment he is performing extremely well for Spurs and we are amazed at what he can do for us. He is on to a great career," Villas-Boas told reporters.<br /><br />"Obviously Tottenham as a football club want to keep him here for as long as we can but we understand players like this have propositions and a market which is the nature of the game."
