Swansea want to keep Danny Graham

07 January 2013 - 08:23

Norwich, Reading and QPR are all interested in Swansea striker Danny Graham, but according to manager Michael Laudrup, the forward is not for sale.

  • Chelsea set to sign midfielder after Danny Welbeck
  • Chelsea confirm striker transfer on two-year deal
  • Graham scored a very important equaliser yesterday against Arsenal in a 2-2 draw in the FA Cup.

“We’ve not had official bids for Danny. He’s playing well right now so obviously he’s important for us because he’s scoring goals," said Laudrup.

“But let’s see what he is saying. That I am talking to players doesn’t mean I tell them they can leave. That’s just the way I am. I speak to players.

“Michu was on the bench because he was not 100 per cent but I thought Danny, after two goals in two games, could keep his momentum up.

“Apart from his late goal he showed great spirit and heart. In the last couple of games we’ve seen the Danny we saw at the end of pre-season.”
