Arsenal planning to bring in new faces

07 January 2013 - 13:39

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted after the frustrating 2-2 draw with Swansea City in the FA Cup, that he would be willing to consider a move for "one or two more" new players. The Gunners have been linked with moves for Shakhtar midfielder Willian and Birmingham goalkeeper Jack Butland.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • The Gunners were on course to head into the fourth round of the FA Cup last night but a Danny Graham late equaliser meant they will need to beat Swansea in a 3rd round replay.

Gunners boss Wenger admitted that he would be on the look out for new players: "We have the players to cope with the extra fixture. We had four players at home on Sunday, and I didn't bring on Oxlade-Chamberlain, Coquelin or Rosicky. Diaby is coming back and maybe we will have one or two coming in, too."
