Sunderland are believed to be tracking the signature of Australian youngster Tommy Oar, currently playing in the Eredivisie with Utrecht. The 21-year-old has been capped six times by his country.

Playing for Utrecht since 2010, Oar has forced his way into the Dutch side's first team and is one of the most highly rated young prospects in the Eredivisie.<br />

Sunderland scouts have been spotted at the Stadion Galgenwaard, and the Black Cats are weighing up an offer in the January transfer window but could wait until the summer to get their man.
