Sunderland to sign Alfred N’Diaye

08 January 2013 - 06:06

Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill looks set to make his first signing of the January transfer window in Alfred N’Diaye from Turkish side Bursaspor. N'Diaye has been a revelation in the Turkish Lig, and is on the cusp of a mega money move to England.

 • The 22-year-old is comfortable playing in defence or in midfield, and that versatility has helped persuade the Black Cats to cough up 4 million Euros for the youngster's signature.
"Our goal is to buy and sell players in the best interests of Bursaspor, and N'Diaye has made it clear he wishes to play in the Premier League," said a Director at Bursaspor.
The 6 foot 2 enforcer plays for the French under-21 side and is seen as a major coup for Sunderland.
