Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill looks set to make his first signing of the January transfer window in Alfred N’Diaye from Turkish side Bursaspor. N'Diaye has been a revelation in the Turkish Lig, and is on the cusp of a mega money move to England.

The 22-year-old is comfortable playing in defence or in midfield, and that versatility has helped persuade the Black Cats to cough up 4 million Euros for the youngster's signature.<br />

"Our goal is to buy and sell players in the best interests of Bursaspor, and N'Diaye has made it clear he wishes to play in the Premier League," said a Director at Bursaspor.<br />

The 6 foot 2 enforcer plays for the French under-21 side and is seen as a major coup for Sunderland.
