Arsenal to let Arshavin join Fulham?

08 January 2013 - 16:36

Arsenal have told Russian winger Andrei Arshavin that he is free to quit the Emirates and join London rivals Fulham on loan for six months. The former Zenit player had been linked with a return home, but is apparently very happy in London.

  • Chelsea transfer update on Maxence Lacroix
  • England star to join Chelsea in two-year deal
  • Arshavin's long term future at Arsenal remains in some doubt after some poor performances at the back end of last season and with manager Arsene Wenger preferring to play the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gervinho on Arshavin's preferred left flank.

The Gunners have told Fulham they can sign Arshavin if they can pay around half of his salary.
