Liverpool scouting Leo Baptistao

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has sent scouts to monitor Rayo Vallecano striker Leo Baptistao in action. The Brazilian forward was promoted to the first team squd of Vallecano in the summer and has forced his way into the starting XI in stunning circumstances.

The Brazilian has scored 6 goals in 16 games for the Vallecano side, and amidst a bounty of rumours that an English club were monitoring his progress, Liverpool appear ready to make a big offer for the player.



The 20-year-old is valued by his club at around 9 million Euros.
