Swansea bid for Kenwyne Jones rejected by Stoke

17 January 2013 - 06:39

Swansea City's bid for Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones has been turned down. The forward has been linked with a move away from the Britannia, but Swansea have not matched the asking price requested by Tony Pulis.

  • Jones is one of Stoke City's longest serving players, but a series of internal issues with manager Pulis appears to mean his spell at the club is coming to an end.

Swansea City on the other hand are not sure about the long term future of striker Danny Graham, and will now make a move for Jones to replace him should he leave.
