Manchester United have decided to let 5th choice striker Federico Macheda leave Old Trafford on loan for the season to join Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart.
Macheda has struggled to force his way into the first team at Old Trafford and will now go on loan to the German club.<br />
"I have followed the Bundesliga and naturally know about Stuttgart. I am glad that I can now play for the club," said Macheda.<br />
"For me, it is about getting to know the team and what I can bring because we have a lot of interesting games in three different competitions in front of us."
