Aston Villa chairman Randy Lerner has told supporters that the club have no plans to axe Paul Lambert from the club, even if they are relegated at the end of the season.
There is growing unease at Villa Park as the Villains lie just one point outside of the relegation zone. Fans of Villa are known to get their way quickly, as was seen when Alex McLeish was fired at the end of last year.
Lambert will reportedly stay in charge at Villa even if they are relegated to the Championship, as Randy Lerner is keen to keep hold of his current management team and make no further changes.
